Lucy Plast spa per the Ocean Clean-up

FIRST PRODUCTS MADE OF VERIFIED OCEAN PLASTIC

the Ocean Clean-up

Packaging and Circular Economy

Circular Economy

To develop complete rigid plastic packaging systems made entirely of recycled plastic by feeding the virtuous circle of the circularity of raw materials among the partners of the supply chain.

Many of our partners use plastic end-plates and pallets every year for handling film reels. The challenge was to study end-plates and pallets composed by an important amount of the partner's waste material and generate an internal process within the company that allows the waste generated by them to be reused again in its own supply chain.

LucyPlast has succeeded in developing different types of packaging: end-plates, cylindrical plugs and pallets for partner companies, by using their waste material that would otherwise have to be disposed of in landfills. We save high cost to the company and to the environment.

LucyPlast &Tech Inn Innovation: a new safety school desk

Making the school a safer place for our children, especially in areas with higher seismic levels. LucyPlast and Tech Inn Innovation have created and patented a school desk that not only allows the primary functions to be carried out for the students, but also acts as an excellent safety device; the indisputable advantage of this desk lies in its protection in the event of seismic action and the detachment of material from the ceiling, also due to the old school property. Pupils can take shelter under the counter in complete safety.

The "Cellular Desk" is the innovative model of school desk, which guarantee the specifications and standards required by the current COVID 19 emergency, and also ensuring the safety of our children in the event of an earthquake.

The "Cellular Desk" has been designed and certified with three different prototypes named Cat. 4, Cat. 5 and Cat. 6 which comply with the dimensional and safety requirements of EN 1729 - 1 and 2:2006 for sizes 4.5 and 6.

On 2019 we received the first orders from local counties and schools. We are proud to give a little conrtibute for a safer school.

Saving and Soustainability: recycling is the answer!

Back to life for 4051 tonne of waste
Lucy Plast would like to thank you for the valuable cooperation this year too, which has led to more and more recycling of what is a valuable resource and not just a waste product: plastic. We have given new life to 4,051 tonnes of plastic as rigid packaging in 2022, an increase of 36% compared to 2021. The decision to use pallets, endwalls, crates and accessories made of recycled plastic is contributing positively to environmental sustainability, thus spreading the importance of the correct use/reuse of plastic, in all its forms. Moreover, in the short/medium run, this choice has also been rewarding in terms of financial savings. 'Reuse' for Lucy Plast means: product quality proven by a very long life cycle, post-sale services, integrated logistics throughout Europe, and ongoing development of tailor-made solutions. The future of the planet is in our hands and together with you we can take up new challenges also in this year.
